◎ The craftsman's skills made possible by years of training
Superhard processing and blade sharpening have been passed down for three generations. The ability to manipulate the second hardest material after diamond at will is the result of years of training.
With the craftsman's skills, we have achieved a soft, smooth, and sharp cutting edge, just like the BMC chisel, as if planeing that plastic.

◎ The final step ~ 4-sided mirror finish ~
A sharply sharpened cutting edge that is sharp enough even as it is. Furthermore, with skilled techniques, all four sides are polished until they are mirror-finished, creating the ultimate sharpened cutting edge. The finer the contact area, the less frictional resistance, resulting in a smooth yet sharp cutting edge. By making everything mirror-finished, fine chipping caused by hairlines (scratches) is prevented. This finish, which may seem excessive at first glance, combines two seemingly
contradictory performance attributes: unrivaled sharpness and durability .

◎Materials backed by technology
High-purity tungsten carbide and cobalt binder are sintered and processed in Japan. We have stubbornly adhered to Japanese quality standards* and have achieved sharpness and durability that will not disappoint modelers.
* Some overseas-made carbide is often mixed with other metals or uses recycled tungsten to make it cheaper. It is inexpensive to obtain and its hardness is reduced, making it easier to process, but its hardness and wear resistance are significantly reduced. BMC chisels do not use any of these materials.
